Synopsis from the Author
With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn’t know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won’t keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that’s not all he wants with her.
(More from me: In this gripping dystopian tale, Juliette awakens in Warner's room after the destruction of Omega Point, and they form an unlikely alliance fueled by a shared desire to destroy the oppressive Reestablishment. As Juliette learns more about Warner's true intentions and struggles, she discovers a complex and misunderstood character beneath his tough exterior. Together with her Omega Point comrades, they devise a plan to overthrow the Reestablishment by taking control of Sector 45. Amidst training and betrayals, Juliette faces personal revelations about her relationships with both Adam and Warner. The story climaxes in a high-stakes mission to confront the Supreme Commander, leading to shocking discoveries, intense battles, and the realization that their fight is far from over.)

Things I Loved & Things I Struggled With
The series is getting more interesting and entertaining. Juliette's character has become stronger, and she's had an epiphany about wanting more from life and being a leader. I really appreciate her growth from quiet to standing up firm. And also, I am a fan and appreciate Juliette's newfound strength and leadership qualities, as well as her determination to fight for the freedom of her people and unite conflicting factions. Juliette is standing up for herself, fighting for her people and their freedom, and uniting conflicting groups.
My favorite moments were that of Juliet and Warner confessing their feelings for each other. The tension and finally coming to terms with how they feel about each other felt liberating as a reader.
Second favorite moments was that of Juliette and her best friend, Kenji. Their relationship is no other. I love how she grew to be more comfortable in telling him vulnerable parts of her life. I love Kenji's love for his friends and his humor. He brights up the room.
Warner opens up about his abusive childhood, sharing the scars on his back and the trauma inflicted by his father. This revelation deepens the connection between Juliette and Warner and adds layers to Warner's character. I guess I got smitten to see this part of him.
Overall, this is my favorite book of the series so far. It is definitely worth reading the past books, and now I'm excited to read the next books in the series.
