Synopsis from the Author

Juliette is still reeling from Warner's betrayal, and Kenji is trying to balance his friendship with her with his responsibilities as a leader of the resistance against the Reestablishment. Things get even more interesting when an unexpected person from Omega Point’s past surfaces.

The ending of Restore Me left readers gasping, and this novella full of Kenji’s signature sass and big heart is the perfect story to tide fans over until Defy Me, the shocking fifth book in the Shatter Me series.

Things I Loved & Things I Struggled With

  • Rollercoaster Romp with Kenji - 4/5 Stars

  • Kenji Kishimoto's day is a rollercoaster of chaos, cryptic warnings, and a sprinkle of misplaced confessions. The alarm symphony and wall-banging neighbor are like a rock concert wake-up call. Warner, the human riddle master, adds mystery, but getting answers from him is like trying to squeeze juice from a rock.

  • Flashback to a head-shaving party, where love confessions are tossed around like confetti with no romantic payoffs. Gym banter, muffin munching, and a Winston-Brendan date dilemma join the party – it's a buffet of quirky side plots.

  • Despite my reservations, I can't deny the gripping nature of the story. If you're a fan of intricate plots, unexpected twists, and intense character relationships, you should read the next books... to figure out what happens next (I wrote this review after reading like the next two books)...
